Siglos works without an account. If you never signed in, there is no account to delete and we hold nothing that identifies you. Signing in is optional and exists only for price alerts.
Delete it inside the app#
This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.
- Open Siglos.
- Tap the account icon in the top corner of any screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. The deletion is permanent.
If it asks you to sign in again first, that is a security check: an account cannot be deleted from a session that has gone stale. Sign out, sign back in, and delete.
Or ask us to delete it#
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email support@siglos.app from the address you signed in with, asking us to delete your Siglos account. We will confirm within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What is deleted#
Everything we hold that is tied to you:
- Your authentication record: the user id, the email address from your Apple or Google account, your display name and your profile photo
- Every price alert you created
- The device tokens registered to deliver those alerts to your phones
Deletion is immediate and permanent. We keep no shadow copy and there is no recovery period. Signing in again later creates a new, empty account.
What is not deleted, because we never had it#
- Your settings and the prices kept on the device. They are stored on your phone, not in your account, and uninstalling the app removes them.
- Anything you typed into the calculator. It is never transmitted.
Kept apart from any account#
Deleting an account does not touch these, because none of them is tied to one:
- Anonymous usage statistics, unless you turned them off in Settings → Share usage analytics. They are kept at event level for two months, and only as aggregate reports after that.
- A feedback report you sent from the app. To have one deleted, write to privacy@siglos.app quoting when you sent it.
- Standard short-lived infrastructure logs kept by Cloudflare for our price service, which are not used to identify anyone.
