The price looks wrong
Siglos shows an indicative price derived from the international spot price and the local exchange rate. It is not the price on a jeweller's counter, and it is not the official rate published by any exchange or government body.
A shop's price is higher because it includes making charges and the retailer's margin, which vary by design and by shop. The calculator can add a making charge so you can compare the two.
The price has not changed
Prices update several times each trading day. Spot gold does not trade on Saturday or Sunday, so the price you see over a weekend is Friday's close and will not move until Monday. That is the market being shut, not the app being stuck.
Every price carries the time it was observed. If that time looks far too old on a weekday, tell us.
Kuwait has a shorter chart
The other five currencies are pegged to the US dollar, so their history could be reconstructed. The Kuwaiti dinar floats, and our data provider does not publish its historical rates, so Kuwait's chart starts when the service did and grows from there. We would rather show less history than invent it.
Do I need an account?
No. Every feature works signed out. Signing in only carries your settings between your own devices, and you can delete the account at any time from the account icon in the top corner of the app.

What we collect, and what we do not, is set out in the privacy policy. The short version: nothing at all unless you sign in.
